Pat Lam: I’m delighted we did not let go

Bristol boss Pat Lam could not hide his delight after such a convincing win. Lam said the win was “pretty high” among the best his Bristol teams have produced since he took over.
“For us to put 50 on Leicester at Leicester is pretty huge. And what impressed me the most was that we did not let go and we did not go into our shells," Lam said.
Lam said Bristol had gone out intent on running Leicester off their feet in the first half.
But he said Bristol’s final try from Fijian international Kalaveti Ravouvou was the best reward for the way his players had defended first.
