Newcastle boss Steve Diamond seemed out of answers on how Newcastle can end their Premiership losing streak and shake-off being the league’s whipping boys.
Diamond said: “We were beaten all over the shop. We couldn’t keep hold of the ball and when they turned it over, they capitalised on it very well.
“Sale’s a good side and one that’s been developed over 10 years, not just overnight.
"We’re going to struggle with the wherewithal and personnel we’ve got. We can’t control the game with Ethan (Grayson) at 10.
