Pat’s proud as his boys stoop to conquer in record style

Pat Lam was pleased with his team’s efforts in a history-making win at The Stoop despite missing out on a place in the top four.
“I’m really proud of the boys,” the Bristol director of rugby said.
“We knew all we could do was control our result, so to get our record score for a Bristol team here is pleasing. We played some very good rugby.”
Lam was especially relieved to right the wrongs of second-half performances at Quins, as the Bears were able to halt a comeback from the hosts having failed to previously.
