Bristol boss Pat Lam lauded substitute Harry Thacker after his team had overturned a 19-0 deficit to beat Leicester.
“This game is always the one he (Harry) goes to another level,” Lam said about how the former Leicester hooker had provided his team’s late dash.
Lam claimed Leicester had deliberately watered the pitch to slow Bristol’s renowned high-tempo game. According to Lam, the Bristol kit man had reported the pitch to be in excellent condition on Friday but by Saturday the visiting staff found the sprinklers to be on.
