Leicester boss Dan McKellar claimed that centre Solomone Kata should have been shown a yellow rather than red for his high challenge on Fraser Dingwall in their defeat to Northampton.
McKellar said: “I thought probably yellow as fair enough. It wasn’t blatant foul play it was a rugby accident, yellow card and 10 minutes.
“But they (officials) thought it was a red card so we’ll go through the process now,” he said.
This trouncing matched Northampton’s 23-point margin of victory in 2019 when they won 36-13 and it left a gloomy McKellar admitting his team’s performance was just not good enough ...
