Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall claimed Owen Farrell was in the form of his life after his break and received a special visitor after the match.
Farrell, who supports Joining Jack, a muscular dystrophy charity, was joined by a youngster who inspired him to raise money to fight the disease.
McCall said: “He played as good as I have seen him play for a very long time. It looked like it mattered to him today and I think he is going to be like that for the rest of the season.
