Proud Yorkshireman Obi Ene is hungry to achieve everything there is in the game after signing a three-year contract with northern rugby’s premier team Sale Sharks.
The 20-year-old Leedsborn winger could have easily gone down the rugby league route given he was training with Leeds Rhinos two years ago but the opportunity didn’t allow him the chance to go to university.
A final year business, accounting and finance student at Newcastle University, Ene feels fortunate he’s able to balance his studies alongside his rugby at Sale.
