Newcastle skipper Callum Chick admits his side are not at the standard they need to be at, and is calling for the squad “to turn a corner” after suffering a 13th straight defeat in all competitions.
The Falcons’ No.8 said: “It’s very frustrating. You can’t fault the lads’ effort but in the Premiership that’s minimum standard, we’ve got to push to be better.
"We’ve got a young team but that’s no excuse, we have to learn quick to turn a corner, and we have to push forward together as a team because we’re not at the standard we need to be at, we all know that.
