Adam Hastings is close to a return for Gloucester after an injury-plagued 2023 that has seen the Scotland outside-half make just three appearances for the Kingsholm club.
Hastings suffered a shoulder injury that required surgery at Leicester on Christmas Eve last year. He returned for the final two Premiership rounds but pulled up during the World XV’s match against the Barbarians in May with a leg complaint that ruled him out of the World Cup.
