Jacques Vermeulen is one of the old hands at Exeter following his arrival from South Africa in 2019 and after a summer of upheaval believes it will not be long before the Chiefs are back at the top.
Flanker Vermuelen’s first season at the club saw them lift both the Premiership and the Champions Cup, but there has been a reset after the loss of senior figures such as Jack Nowell, Dave Ewers, the Simmonds brothers, Harry Williams and Stuart Hogg.
