Following this latest defeat, Gloucester coach George Skivington believes his side needed a reset.
He said: “For most of last season our pack was dominant but we have endeavoured to develop our game in an attempt to score more tries. However while we are scoring more, we have lost the ferocity in our game and we are looking like a bit of everything.”
It was a different story for Bristol director of rugby Pat Lam who said: “To put over 50 points on Gloucester is no mean feat.
