Alex Codling has given his young players exposure in the Premiership Cup and that trend will continue when the Falcons’ league campaign starts at Bath next weekend.
Newcastle welcome Caldy to Kingston Park today having won three of their four cup matches this season, including a home victory over Sale. But they conceded 60 points at Leicester last weekend after being overwhelmed in the first half.
