Alex Sanderson spent the summer mugging up on Finnish philosophy to ensure Sale finish matches and the coming campaign strongly after being pipped by Saracens in last season’s Premiership final.
The Sharks fought back in the second half at Twickenham after finishing second in the table, but were foiled by two tries in the final four minutes as Saracens made their knowhow and experienced tell.
