Sale Sharks part company with chief exec Sutton

Sale Sharks CEO Sid Sutton has left the club after almost three years in the role. Sutton, who joined the club in November 2020, has resigned with immediate effect.
Sharks co-owner Simon Orange said: “Sid led the club through the challenging Covid-19 period and he should be proud of what the club has achieved on and off the field during his time in the job. We wish him and his family all the very best for the future.”
Operations director Paul Smith has been appointed interim CEO.
