Matt Rogerson is confident that the wage upheaval which last week threatened London Irish’s match against Exeter yesterday will not halt the progress the club have made this decade.
Players, coaches and staff at the Exiles did not receive their wages at the end of last month as a proposed takeover took longer than expected to resolve. As advice was sought over breach of contracts, current owner Mick Crossan stepped in and ensured everyone was paid.
