Saracens can secure first place in the league today but all DoR Mark McCall really cares about is hitting peak form for the play-offs.
Sarries booked a home semi-final in recordequalling time with four rounds to go, with the upcoming games against Irish and Bath giving them the chance to fine-tune preparations for the business end of the season.
“Being in the final and lifting the trophy is the ultimate goal. There is something to be taken from coming first, it means you have been the most consistent side over the course of the season, but it’s not the be-all and end-all,” McCall said.
