Exeter boss Rob Baxter says he is aiming to build a side that will be dominant for the next five years.
The Chiefs have signed Wales centre Joe Hawkins, with a number of established internationals set to leave.
Baxter hopes to emulate the side that made six successive Premiership finals from 2016, and won a European title.
“I saw how a team grew together when we first grew a team that moved to the top of the Premiership,” Baxter said. “I’m very keen to do that again, I think we can, but we’ve got to have some patience around it.
