Mark Laycock is confident Newcastle will finish the campaign strongly after becoming the third person to take charge of the side in less than a year.
After Dean Richards left as director of rugby last summer, Dave Walder took over but was sidelined earlier this month with Laycock, who has spent 22 years at the club having come through its academy, holding the reins for the rest of the season.
