With Harry Williams on his way to France at the end of the summer, Exeter have turned to Ehren Painter to help fill the gap at tighthead.
Born in London, Painter has played for every England age-group including the U20s and has made just over 80 appearances for Northampton Saints. The soon-to-be 25-year-old is in his sixth year as a senior player at Franklin’s Gardens but has found opportunities hard to come by this season.
