Harry Simmons had a long wait to get his break at Leicester and having made it into the first team he intends to stay there.
The 25-year old Simmons, a Tigers’ fan as a boy, made his debut for the club in November 2017, but a succession of injuries left him with few opportunities and he spent last season on loan with Jersey at his own request.
He started his career at scrum-half but was persuaded to move into the back three by Steve Borthwick, who became Leicester head coach in the summer of 2020 before taking charge of England.
