Rob Baxter says Premiership Rugby needs to be careful as it plots a relaunch of the league from 2024-25 following the demise of Wasps and Worcester.
Rob Calder has joined Premiership Rugby as chief growth officer after helping establish The Hundred competition in cricket. He is tasked with helping grow the fanbase and replicate what happened in his previous sport.
That involved a new competition, which suggests that the Premiership Cup could be revamped and the rules simplified to help a new audience quickly understand what is going on.
