Brett Deacon praised Charlie Atkinson after the ex-Wasps man sparkled in his first start for Tigers and helped engineer the easy win.
Fly-half Atkinson, 21, kicked ten points and was influential throughout.
Tigers assistant coach Deacon enthused: “Charlie has not been here very long and in terms of the way he controlled and managed the game, and played the Leicester way, he was excellent.
