After defeat to Bath, Newcastle No.8 Callum Chick admitted: “I don’t think we did ourselves justice out there today. We just let ourselves down.
"That first 20, we had total dominance and were in their 22 for a long period of time but errors in the red zone meant that we came away without the points.”
Director of rugby Dave Walder agreed: “We lacked energy, something we’ll have to look at as coaches, and as a playing group we made too many simple errors.
