Fin Smith has started his Northampton career earlier than anticipated, but has settled in quickly at Franklin’s Gardens after suffering the anguish of Worcester going into administration.
The 20-year old, below, had been earmarked by the Saints as the successor at fly-half to Dan Biggar next season, but he was signed last month after the collapse of the Warriors.
Smith’s arrival was timely with Biggar this week leaving the club to join Toulon, while James Grayson is currently sidelined.
