Sale director of rugby Alex Sanderson was pleased with the performance and says things are coming together for his team, just as he expected them to.
He said: “Not to sound arrogant but we’re not surprised with how well we’ve played because we’ve worked hard and things are clicking right now.
“The lads are talking about being on the same page, not just socially and emotionally but in terms of the game model and what they are going after.”
