Baxter promises to keep mixing up his backline

Opposition defences are going to have to keep guessing as Exeter boss Rob Baxter vows to keep mixing up his backline combinations during the new campaign.
Harvey Skinner has occupied the 10 jersey so far this season, but Baxter says Joe Simmonds – who started at 10 on Friday night but has has been playing primarily at fullback – will be getting time at fly-half during 2022-23.
And the Chiefs have rising back three star Josh Hodge returning to the frame from injury within a matter of days.
With Henry Slade now back from shoulder surgery and Stuart Hogg returning from a knee...
