Blow for Jones as Manly chase Seibold

EDDIE Jones is set to suffer another blow to his coaching staff after Manly Sea Eagles launched a bid to take his defence coach Anthony Seibold back to Sydney. The former South Sydney and Brisbane Broncos boss, who joined the RFU in late 2021, is wanted by the Sea Eagles to assist long-serving coach Des Hasler next season and then take over the top job in 2024.
Hasler’s relationship with the Sea Eagles has been strained in the wake of the pride jersey saga. He even banned the club owner from the dressing room on match days.
