BRIDGEND upset the Llandovery applecart in style with full-back Cai Evans – son of Ieuan – putting over the winning penalty with the last kick of a see-sawing game.
The Drovers were expected to sign off the season with another bonus point win but played into Bridgend hands by playing far too loosely against opponents who did the basic things that bit better.
Llandovery’s only and scant consolation was two losing bonus points.
