Chris Ashton: ‘Now I want to make it to 100’

CHRIS Ashton said he was relieved to set the Premiership’s try scoring record.
His hat-trick took him on to 95 – three ahead of Leicester’s former wing Tom Varndell.
Ashton, who has played at four other Premiership clubs, said: “I’m glad to get it (the record) out of the way and I’m glad it did not take a long time.”
He has now set himself on reaching 100 and added: “It was good to get the win and to score 50 points against a team as good as Bristol.”
He added: “My mum said to me the other day it is the only thing that makes me look happy.”
