HARLEQUINS head coach Tabai Matson said his side rode their luck at times, particularly when they went down to 13 men.
Matson said: “Before the game, I’d have taken a 24-10 win every day of the week. It looks comfortable now but it wasn’t, we made it hard at times, they made it harder at times and I think we were lucky with the double yellow card as they missed a number of opportunities.
“In training you rehearse a yellow card, but you never rehearse two. However, the senior players adapted excellently.”
