NEW Worcester boss Steve Diamond described himself a “little frustrated” after a second defeat under his command.
Diamond felt Leicester‘s physicality had been the big difference especially the force of weight in the tackle.
“It was very similar to last week really,” he said. “We flattered ourselves sometimes when in the game and then capitulated in two or three moments.
“Yes, a bit frustrated, but nothing that can’t be fixed. In the first 20 minutes the match was even and we just about won the second half.
Diamond aims to get Worcester fitter. “The difference was the physicality in the tackle. They were able to move back players two or three metres which we aren’t at the moment.”
Man-of-the-match Freddie Burns said it was important for Leicester to return to winning ways.
“The conditions were difficult with a tricky wind but the forwards got on the front foot and that made it easy for me.
“We were happy with the way we played and we got the job done.”
