Wasps’ Thomas Young discharged from hospital following head injury

and flanker Thomas Young has been discharged from hospital following a sustained against on Sunday.

Young took a blow to the back of the head shortly before half-time and was taken straight to the University Hospital Limerick.

A Wasps statement confirmed that Young spent the night in hospital in Limerick. However, after a series of scans he was now been discharged from hospital and able to fly home with the clubs medical staff.

The Wasps statement thanked all at Munster and University Hospital Limerick for their care and support, as well as those within the rugby community who have reached out.
