NEWCASTLE director of rugby Dean Richards admitted he was less than impressed with Falcons performance, but spoke of greater concern around the huge uncertainty facing back-to-back away trips to France in the next fortnight.
Looking ahead to Biarritz, he said: “It’s not as simple as the edicts we’ve been getting, there is still 48-hour isolation going into France and there has been no clarity on what that means, whether you’re cooped up in a hotel room or not.
