Northampton Saints emergency call for prop

NORTHAMPTON Saints last week sent out an SOS looking to bring another tighthead prop into Franklin’s Gardens as injury cover until the end of the season.
Chris Boyd, who has former Ireland U20 star Oisín Heffernan on the sidelines, has said they have sufficient budget for the right quality player who can go straight into their squad.
Premiership play-off hopefuls Saints have said that even though they are only looking for someone until the end of the season, there is a possibility the contract could be extended into next season.
