LEICESTER outstayed Wasps in an all-action finale to clinch a European Champions Cup place next season and reward Steve Borthwick’s squad improvements.
Second-half tries from Argentina internationals Julian Montoya and Tomas Lavanini kept the Tigers ahead in a win by five tries to four.
For the non-stop Wasps, there was also the consolation of a Champions Cup place aided by ninthplaced London Irish falling foul of the Covid regulations in the run up to play Bristol.
