SALE’S AJ MacGinty attributes an injury-free run, fatherhood and a better understanding with Faf de Klerk as some of the factors behind his rich vein of form.
Rather than play second fiddle or share the fly-half role with Rob du Preez, the US Eagles international, 31, has emerged as Alex Sanderson’s firm choice at 10. He has started 11 of the first 13 league games, many in tandem with De Klerk, and appears to have a more measured approach to life and his game.
