SAINTS boss Chris Boyd believes playing into the wind in the second half yesterday might have pointed the way forward for Northampton.
He said: “It was quite a lot windier after halftime and we weren’t able to kick our way out of the back end of our field so we had to make the decision to play our way out, and I think that might be a little message for us.
“Any win in the Premiership at the moment is a good win. We hadn’t played for five weeks so we were a bit rusty but we haven’t lost in the last two months now, except for Covid.
