Boyd: We should have won, we’re not waving white flags yet

DESPITE his obvious disappointment at not ending their losing run, Northampton director of rugby Chris Boyd provided a honest assessment.
“We were authors of our destiny as we should have closed out the game as we had plenty of chances to do so,” he said.
“We made a very good start and our defence was strong and overall it was a much improved performance.
“We conceded a few vital penalties at the scrum area and we’ll have to have a look at that but we won’t be waving any white flags just yet.”
