Blackett: Gutted as basics let Wasps down

A DOWNHEARTED Lee Blackett confessed he was “gutted” at this second successive Premiership defeat.

It’s the first time the Wasps boss has endured two Premiership defeats on the trot since he took over from Dai Young.
“I felt like we created enough opportunities but our basics just let us down. We are gutted at the defeat.”
Blackett hopes the European season starting next week and the return of his internationals will provide a “re-set” for his squad.
