Tuilagi insisted it was all about Sale winning rather than himself on his special day.
“I was excited to come back and it was certainly a different feeling coming here to play against the Tigers.
“It was nice to get the win against some good mates of mine. It was a tough game but a great game of rugby. It’s always nice to get a try but winning is what matters the most.”
