TIGERS defied a red card for veteran Australia hooker Tatafu Polota-Nau to produce a battling performance to grab the spoils at the Rec.
Polota-Nau, 34, who hung up his Test boots after 90 caps and missing out on World Cup selection, was dismissed for a an early second half dangerous head-high hit on Bath replacement scrumhalf Will Chudley.
Yet, despite being a man down for almost half an hour, the visitors finished off all their good first-half work to drive off with the points and a second Premiership Cup victory in three games.
