JOHAN Ackermann called for a rethink over promotion and relegation from the Premiership after his side’s victory condemned Newcastle to demotion.
The Gloucester head coach said: “It’s tough to see a team like Newcastle falling out of the Premiership.
Personally, I don’t like the promotion and relegation thing. You need three or four seasons together minimum to build a team. If you have relegation, I think it has to be a home and away play-off.”
