Baxter: Referee wasn’t to blame

EXETER boss Rob Baxter refused to blame referee Ian Tempest for failing to award a first-half try for Ollie Devoto and said Northampton deserved to win.
And Baxter warned his squad to expect more of the same ferocious commitment Northampton served up in the coming months.
Baxter said: “We have to be ready to be in a dog fight to play against these teams.
The table shows everyone is in a fight for something.
“We have to mentally engage. I can’t complain about the result, I thought Saints deserved it.”
