Failure to adapt costs Wasps

WASPS academy manager, Jon Pendlebury, was frustrated with his side’s disappointing effort.
“We trained all week in the sunshine but we didn’t come to terms with the conditions, we didn’t adapt by playing a bit too narrow,” he said.
“We tried to force play and some of restart kicks went wrong so we gave them easy piggybacks to gain valuable territory.
“Our discipline was a problem throughout and we conceded 19 points in the sin-bin period, which was absolutely massive.”
