BEN VELLACOTT enlivened a miserable afternoon at Kingsholm to get Gloucester off to a flying start in the Premiership Cup.
Callum Braley has recently been preferred to Vellacott for the scrumhalf berth but a superb first half performance from the 23-year-old Vellacott reminded coach Johan Ackermann of his undoubted talent.
