Wanted: Sam Matavesi

CORNISH PIRATES are fighting to hang on to another member of their Championship highflyers with hooker Sam Matavesi wanted by Harlequins.
Matavesi, whose brothers Josh and Joel both play for Newcastle Falcons, joined the Pirates after stints with Camborne, Plymouth Albion and Racing Metro.
Quins are keen for him to join up as cover after Joe Gray left the club for spells with Northampton Saints and Saracens.
Matavesi would be the second Pirate to move to the Premiership after prop Christian Judge joined current champions Saracens.
