Eddie’s breakdown backdown

EDDIE Jones claimed that he did not need specialist opensides for England to be successful at the breakdown. He has revised that view, and this week he also canvassed RFU refs boss Tony Spreadbury to allow more of a contest for the ball in the Premiership. Jones likes to be seen as being ahead of the curve tactically, but at the breakdown he has been well adrift.
