NEWCASTLE’S late win at Leicester on Friday night which helped put them into the Premiership play-offs will have given Dean Richards huge satisfaction.
Newcastle’s 25-23 victory means that Leicester, who parted with Richards in 2004 after he won four Premiership titles and two European Cups, will miss out on the play-offs for the first time in 14 years.
Meanwhile Richards is working the same teambuilding magic at Newcastle that he did at Quins, and the Tigers.
