MARO Itoje may have stolen the headlines with a soft first-half run-in, which he then followed by feigning to be asleep for the benefit of those who have dubbed him ‘tired’ while on England duty.
However, what was truly tired was the comatose Harlequins defence which let him stride in virtually unopposed on the half-hour.
Once he had shrugged off a token tackle by James Chisholm on the edge of the 22, and was almost waved through by Danny Care, he was left with a clear passage to the line.
