We’re still hoping, insists Tonks

GREIG Tonks is refusing to push the panic button despite Irish slumping to another confidence-denting defeat and still trailing ten points adrift at the foot of the Premiership table.
The full-back tried his best to rally his teammates but could not prevent Falcons grabbing the spoils at the Madejski Stadium.
Tonks, who kicked five penalties, admitted: “It’s just so frustrating and annoying.
“We did so many good things out there and put them under so much pressure, especially at the start and in the second half. We just cannot convert the pressure and chances into tries.
